Fri, 30 March 2007 Its been a while but here's my latest podcast. I've taken a droney approach to this one, There's still a hint of ambient glitch but it's really been toned down for this cast. I hope you enjoy and thank you for being patient. there will of course be more to come so please stay tuned. NOIA Comments[2] |
Sun, 21 January 2007 Well firstly i would like to apologies to anyone who's been waiting for my next podcast, I haven't had the chance to sit down and make some noise. I've given up smoking, it's been one week and three days so far. No nicotine replacement and a few extra pounds so far. I'm chuffed with how well I've coped with the lack of nicotine. It's been a real eye opener to how much will power I really have. I'm gonna be a Dad again soon also, with giving up smoking and a new baby on the way I hope you can see why I've had no time at all to make my next cast. the new baby has pretty much occupied my every thought. I'm really looking forward to spending more time with my ever increasing family. Musically I'm aiming to push my limits with soundscape, and more textual sound sculpture. I'm gonna reduce the glitch element a bit and concentrate on more melodic, much warmer sounds and only upload what i'm truly happy with instead of uploading everything I produce just to archive. Sara, my wife, has asked me to create some ambient sound loops for our baby bump, to be played at night directly at the bump now the baby can hear. I'm really looking forward to this. For me, creating sound for my unborn child is increadably inspiring and a brillant concept to work on. It'll still be Live, improvised and weird. anywho, all the best NOIA Category: mind sword -- posted at: 2:31 PM Comments[1] |

Sat, 21 October 2006 This is a short laptop improv recording. I've taken some samples of my previous work, processed and mangled them producing some very glitchy, very dark atmospheres. I do hope you enjoy. Many thanks NOIA Comments[0] |
